Cooper stayed SUPER busy these last few weeks!
8 months didn't look a whole lot different from 7 but I think that's because Coop was waiting to do all.the.things. in month 9 (see below! whew!)
He got to play in the big kid space at daycare and LOVES riding the "bikes"
Gotta start 'em early!
The weather has been a bit crazy so he got all bundled up in his llama sweater his Aunt Meg and Uncle T sent him from South America!
He loves being out of his carseat and in his big boy stroller
He takes care of business on the daily
He outgrew his infant tub but is too small for the big tub so he got an upgrade to the.duck.
Ya'll He.LOVES his bath duckies!
He played with Dad
And got some sweet snuggles from his "Colorado Mimi" Mrs Yvette (and got to sleep on her big bed!).
Cooper is slowly but surely getting good with dogs and LOVES their doggie Hazel!
Yvette was sweet enough to keep C while Alex and I got my first Colorado road ride in!
We made it all the way up and down look out mountain!
Ya'll I know I'm out of cycling shape but this ride was TOUGH!
The view is always worth it though and the company couldn't be beat!
We celebrated Valentine's day!
Love my little and big Valentines!
Cooper is moving and grooving so out are the infant booties and in with his first pairs of real shoes!
Hannah got a night off and went and danced it out at "The Fitness Marshall."
Ya'll that was fabulous hilarious fun.
If he comes to your city...just go.
It's like updated Jane Fonda with dance and it.is.so.fun.
Cooper diabolically gave me and Alex a simultaneous GI bug which was HORRIBLE (and he was just fine!).
Luckily we called in an SOS and our neighbors saved the day while we got some sleep!
Cooper loves sporting his super cool shades!
He loves to go to the park and swing
He loves to pull himself up to standing and play on the bottom rung of the jungle gym.
Alex and I got to take a date day to Keystone.
This is one of our favorite things to do together and it's so fun that we can do it on a day trip!
This slope is called "Starfire"
7 years ago I tore my ACL on it.
I hadn't ridden it again until this past weekend.
DOMINATED.
We also hiked out and skied the North Bowl which Alex did great on and I got way.out.of.my.league.
We made it though and new adventures were had!
And now Cooper is 9.months.old.
Ya'll where had the time gone?!
He's gotten so.big. this month!
So at 9 months, Cooper is...
A little over 17 lbs (15th percentile)
27 inches long (8th percentile)
*not adjusted for him being a month early*
So he's a growing boy!
He's cut his first tooth (which of course he won't show off!)
He's getting super loud, sassy, talkative and animated!
He is super busy! It's definitely getting harder to catch him!
And he's officially crawling!
(and scooting, and pulling to stand, and all.the.busy.things.)
Cooper,
We cannot believe how big you are getting!
This month, you have grown so much!
Your independence is really shining through and you are super excited to be so much more mobile!
You have been so fun these past few weeks and we love seeing you grow more and more into the little person God wants you to be each day!
You still give us a run for our money but your sweet smile and snuggly personality make it all worth it all the time.
We love you more than we could ever express.
You are truly our greatest adventure.

Well...that's about it! Stay tune for 10 months, a trip to Texas and getting into springtime in Denver!
Just a few more weeks and we will have lived here for a full year!
Time.is.flying. and we can't believe how fast our little lives here in Denver have gone by!
